I think having a small family is good. Now the couple woman and man need to work and they don´t have enough time for their children. Another reason is about priorities. Now, being a proffessional with university career is one of the most important priorities or having enough money to buy a house or have a good job. My husband and I decided to have a small family with 1 or 2 children. We don´t want to have a big family. We think children are part of life, but not our main priority.
